A new series for March on
wardrobe planning and organising
from Sharon At O2B Organised
"I've got nothing to wear!"
How many times have you moaned that sentence to yourself as you're trying to get ready?
And if your wardrobe is anything like mine used to be, it's probably pretty full......pretty full of gorgeous tops, really cool pants, fabulous shoes and lovely handbags......you get the picture!
A closet full of clothes, but still nothing to wear! So we continue to spend our hard earned money to buy something new that gives us a boost....but does that help?- Not usually! It's so easy to end up with a wardrobe overflowing with items and still have nothing suitable for the occasion.
Have you ever then rushed out to buy something new so you'd have something to wear, because, you know, there wasn't anything in your wardrobe that was right. I know I have in the past. It really becomes a vicious cycle doesn't it?
I used to find looking in my closet for something to wear so frustrating. I couldn't remember what fit, what matched or what top looked best with what pants - it was such a jumble in there! Is it just me or does anyone else feel this way?
One day I decided enough was enough, I decided to declutter my closet, get a system in place and put a stop to this clothing chaos. I did a lot of research (which wasn't really a chore as this subject fascinates me!) on the best ways to plan a wardrobe, capsule wardrobes and making the most of what we have and became a convert to buying the best quality I could afford over quantity.
I'm so happy with the end result. My wardrobe is now so easy to manage and yours can be too! Even if you have a small space (or especially if you have a small space!) you can create a wardrobe that not only saves you time and stress, but also works for your lifestyle.
This month I'm very excited to be embarking on a new series on Wardrobe Organising so stay tuned to find out more :-)
